Thomas Hanel is a Montana native and resident of Billings for over 33 years. Thomas and his wife Robin, have 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren.
Thomas retired from the City of Billings as Police Lieutenant in 1996. He served in all divisions receiving recognition for his profound leadership and community involvement.
Thomas served Big TImber as Councilman and as Mayor from 1999-2003. He led the community at a time of tremendous growth and financial challenges.
Thomas has been a Real Estate Broker for 15 years. He served the Billings Association of Realtors as 2008 President and was recently awarded the 2009 Billings Realtor of the Year. Thomas serves on numerous real estate local, state and national committees many as a board member. Thomas is a Master Mason and member of several local civic organizations.
