In order to accommodate historically low funding levels, the Community Development Board has previously implemented priority budgeting resulting in program elimination / drastic reductions. In 2012, the Community Development Board and City Council eliminated grant programs for non-profit organizations, opting for sustainable programs creating program income through City-managed loans.
Organizations interested in applying for loan funding through Community Development are encouraged to thoroughly review the guidance manual to ensure understanding of eligible activities, federal requirements, reporting, and monitoring.
The deadline for the application is Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 5:00 pm. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.Please pay particular attention to guidance on format for submission. Both electronic and hard copy versions of the applications must be received by the deadline.
