The investigations division of the Billings Police Department investigates all major crimes against persons and property. The detectives are assigned both adult and juvenile cases.

Some examples of the major cases investigated include homicide, auto theft, sexual assault, forgery, burglary, embezzlement, cyber-crimes, and arson.

The front window is open from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday for personal assistance to the public.
