Septic tanks are used by many residents in Yellowstone County.  The wastewater treatment plant accepts septic tank waste hauled to the plant by licensed haulers.  There are many licensed septic tank system cleaning companies in the area. 

Restaurant / Food grease is accepted for disposal at the wastewater treatment plant from establishments within the city of Billings.  The waste must be hauled by a licensed hauler and an appointment for disposal made in advance by calling the plant at (406) 657-8356.
