Ron Tussing was elected the mayor of Billings in November 2005 after a 36 year career in Law Enforcement. He served as Billings Police Chief from 1998-2005.

Prior to moving to Montana, he was a former SWAT Team Leader, the Sheriff of Lancaster County Nebraska, and the Superintendent of the Nebraska State Patrol. Since taking office, Mayor Tussing has established the Mayor’s Committee on Homelessness and the Mayor’s Energy and Conservation Commission.

Mayor Tussing is active in many community and charitable endeavors.
