Responsibilities of the Identification Division include:
  • Forensic processing of evidence
  • Examination and identification of fingerprint evidence
  • Operation of Western Identification Network’s Automated Fingerprint Identification System
  • Forensic video analysis
  • Assisting in the processing of major crime scenes for physical evidence
  • Maintaining the department’s fingerprint database and files
  • Storing and safeguarding evidence, found property and property for safekeeping
  • Maintaining all records relating to property, relinquishing property and the disposal of property as appropriate

Stolen Bikes
Bike viewings are scheduled once a month for those who have had bicycles stolen. Dates and times of these viewings are posted in the newspaper.
